AYURVEDIC AESTHETIC MEDICINE - COSMETOLOGY AND TRICHOLOGY

CERTIFICATE IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE is autonomous course by Ayuaesthetics Pvt Ltd

Aacharya Sushruta - Father of Aesthetic Medicine

We all know Aacharya Sushruta is considered as Father of Modern Surgery but Aacharya Sushruta is not only "Father of Surgery But Father of Aesthetic Medicine". First ever references about Different Aesthetic Treatments As Krushnikaran ( Regeneration of Skin Pigmentation ), Shwetkaran ( Reducing Skin Pigmentation to Correct Hyper Pigmentation ), Rom Sanjanan ( Inducing Hair Regrowth ), Rom Kshatan ( Permanent Hair Removal ), Utthankaran ( Treating Hypotrophic Scar) and Use of Agnikarm ( Thermal Cautery Procedure ) in Different Skin Disorders are from Sushrut Samhita written by Aacharya Sushruta.

Aacharya Sushruta has explained Ashtavidh Shastrakarm ie Different Parasurgical Procedures which are very useful in Dermatology and Cosmetology. Through Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetology and Trichology in Ayurveda workshops Ayuaesthetics is Working to Rejuvenate Branch of Aesthetic Medicine in Ayurveda.

Syllabus of Aesthetic Medicine i.e. Cosmetology and Trichology in Ayurveda in details with different treatment methods

🔴 Dermoscopy / skin & hair analysis / दर्शन परिक्षण  ➡ Dermoscopy is a noninvasive method that allows the in vivo evaluation of colors and microstructures of the epidermis, the dermoepidermal junction, and the papillary dermis not visible to the naked eye. These structures are specifically correlated to histologic features. The identification of specific diagnostic patterns related to the distribution of colors and dermoscopy structures can better suggest a malignant or benign pigmented skin lesion. The use of this technique provides a valuable aid in diagnosing pigmented skin lesions. Because of the complexity involved, this methodology is reserved for experienced clinicians.

 ➡ Skin and Hair Analysis

Analyses the skin and hair giving you a closer look at different skin and hair conditions. ... The Skin and Hair Analyser can analyse all types of skin conditions such as: sebum (oil), pigmentation (discolouration or dark spots), pores, acne and moisture.

 🔴 Microderma abrasion / Skin polishing / LEKHANKARM / ले खन कर्श

➡Microdermabrasion treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage and stretch marks.

 🔴 Dermapen / collagen induction therapy / VIDDHAKARM / विद्धकर्श

➡ The Dermapen is a revolutionary micro-needling device which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin. The Dermapen can visibly improve the appearance of : fine lines. wrinkles. surgical, acne and trauma scars.

🔴 Derma rollers collagen induction therapy / VIDDHAKARM / विद्धकर्श

➡ The Genuine Dermaroller Therapy provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

Dermaroller is a natural skin regeneration and Scar Repair Therapy also used in the process of stretch mark removal.

Dermaroller can significantly improve the appearance of:

Facial and decolletage lines and wrinkles, Stretch marks, Aged and sun damages skin, Scars (including acne), Rejuvenation of hands

🔴 Galvanic treatment ➡Galvanic Facial. ... This treatment involves the use of a device that uses low-level galvanic (electric) current to facilitate the transport of key ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin for improved cleansing, hydration, circulation, and radiance. Recommended for most skin types, including sensitive skin.

🔴 High frequency ➡ High frequency treatments are used to stimulate, sanitize and heal the skin by high frequency currents that generate warmth in the skin and stimulate nerve endings, in turn increasing blood circulation, nourishing the skin and improving product penetration within the skin. Direct high frequency offers the results of treating dry and dehydrated skin by increasing the activity in the sebaceous glands and causing a skin warming effect and provides benefits for those with blemish prone and acneic type skin by killing bacteria and eliminating oils.

🔴 Electroporation ➡A therapy that allows optimal product absorption into the skin is electroporation. Electroporation is a popular method that allows for transdermal product absorption by using electrical pulses to split open skin cells.

🔴 Mesotherapy ➡ In Mesotherapy Superficial microinjections are inserted just below the epidermal layer of the skin into the appropriate tissues to stimulate the mesoderm layer in the skin, which lies at a depth of about 1mm beneath the surface, in order encourage the hair’s natural regeneration and proliferation process.

Mesotherapy treatment has now been used for decades to successfully restore luster and volume to thinning hair and to promote significant hair regrowth for both women and men who have experienced the beginnings of balding or Alopecia Areata.

The technology at the root of the treatment is based on the understanding that most hair loss problems are a result of lack of proper nutrients, reduced blood circulation to the scalp and hormone imbalances around the hair follicle, in particular an excess production of the hair loss androgen DHT.

For hair restoration treatments, the Mesotherapy solution

injected into the scalp contains a special combination of specific chemicals, minerals, amino acids, vitamins, nucleic acids and co-enzymes specifically tailored according to the patient’s unique requirements.

🔴 Radio frequency  ➡ Noninvasive radio frequency for skin tightening and body contouring. ... Currently, the most common uses of RF-based devices are to noninvasively manage and treat skin tightening of lax skin (including sagging jowls, abdomen, thighs, and arms), as well as wrinkle reduction, cellulite improvement, and body contouring.

🔴 Q switch ND yag laser ➡ The Q-switched laser is used to remove unwanted brown spots, sun freckles, or tattoos from your skin. The laser energy pulse, which is in billionths of a second, releases the pigment into the skin so it can be naturally reabsorbed and disposed of by the body.

🔴 Chemical Peels  / KSHARKARM / PRATISARNIYA KSHARA / क्षािकर्श   ➡ A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the

appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

🔴 PRP - PLATELET RICH PLASMA

 ➡ PRP for skin

PRP has become a highly sought after non-surgical procedure for facial and skin rejuvenation. PRP therapy is a treatment which uses your own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth, helping to improve your complexion, skin texture and to restore lost facial volume.

 ➡ PRP for hair

PRP therapy for hair loss is a treatment that involves withdrawing a patient's own blood, processing it so that only the enriched cells (platelet-rich plasma) remain, and injecting it into the scalp. PRP contains essential proteins that stimulate natural hair growth. Other terms for this treatment include PRP hair regrowth treatment, angel PRP hair regrowth and vampire hair regrowth plan. The treatment can also be combined with hair transplant surgery, microneedling, or medications such as Propecia and Minoxidil.

🔴 IPL / Diode laser ➡ Intense pulsed light (IPL) is used to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photorejuvenation (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage and thread veins ) as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne.

 🔴Electro-cautery / Plasma pen  / AGNIKARM / अग्नीकर्श

➡Electrocauterization (or electrocautery) is often used in surgery to remove unwanted or harmful tissue. It can also be used to burn and seal blood vessels. This helps reduce or stop bleeding during surgery or after an injury. It is a safe procedure.

A small probe with an electric current running through it is used to burn or destroy the tissue. A grounding pad is placed on the body (usually the thigh) before the surgery to protect the person from the harmful effects of the electricity.

🔴 RF cavitation / body contouring ➡ Noninvasive radio frequency for skin tightening

and body contouring. ... Currently, the most common uses of RF-based devices are to noninvasively manage and treat skin tightening of lax skin (including sagging jowls, abdomen, thighs, and arms), as well as wrinkle reduction, cellulite improvement, and body contouring.

🔴 EMS slimming ➡ EMS stands for Electric Muscle Stimulation. Technically,

EMS is a total body workout with body current. In this context, it might be helpful to know that our muscles contract through electric impulses (bioelectronics) in normal state. The EMS training makes use of this effect.

 ➡ EMS for face

The faradic facial treatment or electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) uses the application of electrical pulses, which are applied to the face to stimulate the muscles to contract, resulting in a tightening and toning effect.

🔴  Cryolipolysis  - Cryolipolysis is a medical treatment used to destroy fat cells by freezing. The functional principle is the controlled application of cooling, within the temperature range of +5 to −5 °C, for the noninvasive,

localized reduction of fat deposits, in order to reshape the contours of the body. The degree of exposure to cooling causes the apoptosis (cell death) of subcutaneous fat tissue, without apparent damage to the overlying skin.

🔴 HIFU

            -  High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is an early stage medical technology that is in various stages of development worldwide to treat a range of disorders.

The mechanism is similar to using a magnifying glass to focus sunlight. Focused ultrasound uses an acoustic lens to concentrate multiple intersecting beams of ultrasound on a target. Each individual beam passes through tissue with little effect but at the focal point where the beams converge, the energy can have useful thermal or mechanical effects. HIFU is typically performed with real-time imaging via ultrasound or MRI to enable treatment targeting and monitoring (including thermal tracking with MRI).

HIFU devices have been cleared to treat subcutaneous adipose tissue for the purposes of body

contouring (known colloquially, and incorrectly since there is no suction involved, as "non-invasive liposuction").
